POP performs Antonio Cagnoni’s Don Bucefalo for the first time in the US since 1867 at The Garibaldina, the oldest Italian society in America. With music reminiscent of Cagnoni's famous tutor Donizetti, POP’s Don Bucefalo moves the action of this slapstick comedy to the Garibaldina's heyday, the late 1960s. The Garibaldina Society is one of LA’s hottest retro spots and has recently been profiled multiple times in the LA Times. This production will offer a table and general seating, with an optional Italian dinner add-on complete with pasta, salad, and wine!
